CHOS RESIDENCY
Chos Residency is an intimate ecolodge in Gonpa Village, in the Gangles Valley of northern Leh. Far enough from the bustle to feel genuinely peaceful, yet close enough to reach Leh with ease.
Every room is built for a comfortable mountain stay: kitchen, wardrobe area, mega bathroom, balcony seating, premium wooden interiors, proper heating, Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi.
The house is surrounded by a private vegetable garden and flowers of many varieties, with the mountains opening up beyond the poplars.
Warm timber, generous rooms, balconies open to the landscape, and enough space to linger. The house is built to feel comfortable after long drives and long days in the mountains.
Rich timber panelling, patterned floors and warm natural light.
Comfortable sleeping spaces with room to sit, read and slow down.
A generous shared space for tea, conversation, games or simply doing nothing.
Your own green pocket of Leh, filled with vegetables and flowers.
There are 2 Mega Suites and 4 Premium Suites. Every room has its own kitchen, wardrobe area, mega bathroom and balcony seating; the Mega Suites simply give you more of everything.
Stay in, head out, or do a bit of both. Chos Residency is set up as a comfortable base for life in Leh and for exploring Ladakh beyond it.
Warm, home-cooked food can be part of your stay.
Full-time high-speed connection for work, planning and staying connected.
Smart television in all rooms for relaxed evenings.
Comfortable heated interiors for cold mountain nights.

Every balcony opens onto an extraordinary Ladakhi panorama: the Stok Range and the Gonpa Buddha statue, an approximately 80-foot-tall golden Buddha, rising above the village landscape.
Sometimes the mountains are hard-edged and copper. Sometimes clouds roll through and turn the whole valley rose-gold. The view does not repeat itself.
Chos Residency has its own vegetable garden and a colourful collection of flowers. It is the kind of place where the walk from your room to breakfast can take longer than expected.

From the house to the valley floor, from timber interiors to open mountain light.
